Shank & Heinemann’s straightforward, realistic and thoughtful. The fact that you are on the right side of a case does not assure a positive outcome without the right legal representation. Shank & Heinemann did an outstanding job for me.”
What sets us apart. Our firm is comprised entirely of counsel who have received behind-the-scenes training as law clerks to some of the most well-respected judges on the federal trial and appellate benches. This experience gives us an unparalleled advantage in navigating the intricacies of case development, litigation strategy and trial execution.
Versatility. Our firm is adept at both prosecuting and defending commercial claims of the highest caliber. We have successfully litigated claims against companies including JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Liberty Mutual, H&R Block and Nestle Purina. We also have successfully defended many global insurance companies (such as Allianz, Munich Re and Swiss Re) and the United States operating divisions of several multinational corporations (such as GKN plc, Volvo Truck Corporation and BBA Aviation plc). We deliver exceptional legal services no matter what the stakes or the size of the opponent.
Efficiency. Our firm provides the high-end legal services that our clients demand without the high-end cost because we use a boutique firm model that emphasizes results and productivity over bells and whistles. Like many large firms, we have a national reach; unlike many large firms, however, we provide our legal services at a notable value by eliminating many of the inefficiencies inherent in the large-firm model, which allows us to charge hourly rates that are substantially below most of our competitors.
Results. In the last 18 months, our firm has successfully tried four jury trials, prevailed on dispositive motion practice in six other cases, and settled numerous other matters on terms very favorable for our clients.
Our clients enjoy the same high quality litigation representation found at large firms, but at a more affordable cost and on a more personal level. Our experienced litigation attorneys represent clients in trials, appeals, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and other litigation matters across the nation. We have experience representing clients in many types of matters involving many areas of the law.
